About Kelanah
Design rooted in soul, collaboration, and nature.
I’ve always been described as an old soul - raised to appreciate the old ways of life but open to the new as it comes. Beauty, nature, and hands-on creativity shaped who I am as a designer. My work is not about what’s trendy; it’s about creating spaces that feel tactile, trustworthy, and lived in.
My Story
At nine years old, I drew my first floor plan for a little clubhouse outside our home. My dad built it from scrap wood — equipped with a stage, fold-away desk, and all. It was the first time I saw an idea in my head come to life in real space.
Years later, for my senior project, I renovated a 1971 Volkswagen Bus. I reimagined the layout, selected every finish, and surprised everyone (including myself) with what was possible when I trusted my gut.
Design has always been in my bones, just like the mountains are in my blood. There’s something beautiful in blending old and new — it makes spaces feel more real, more soulful, more yours.
Like threads through a quilt, my goal is to weave something that will stand the test of time. Just like they used to. But we must remember, everything that is weathered now, was once new.
